The client, Shield Wall Designs, needed a revamp of their website because their current one was not meeting their overall goal of securing further financing for new factories and expanding their branding to builders across the country. Shield Wall Designs also wanted to update some aspects of their current branding, including adjusting their color palette and typography.
Overview
COLOR PALLETE
The client shared their initial color preferences, and we refined the established primary brand colors for better visibility in digital and print materials through careful shade adjustments.
While considering complementary colors to complement the chosen shades of blue, we identified gold as a primary complementary hue. Additionally, a secondary blue color was chosen as a backup to provide design flexibility.
Typography & Color Testing
About The Project: After identifying the best color palette for the client, the next step was to choose two fonts that not only matched the client’s industry (steel manufacturing) but were also easy to read and conveyed a professional feel. After discussing options, the client and I agreed on using Archivo for headlines, numbers, and short messages, while Roboto would be used for body headlines and body copy.
